The Film Producers Association of the Gambia; known as FPAG is a non-profit making organization created in 2014 in line with legislative requirements of the Copyright Acts 2014 with the primary objective to bring filmmakers together in collaboration and accelerate the growth and development of the Gambia Film Industry.

The vision of the Association is a successful, Prosperous and transformed Gambia Society through the use of film and video.

The mission of the Association is to enhance creativity by empowering filmmakers and standardizing the film industry in the Gambia for economic empowerment.

  10. An established quality assurance committee to monitor and control audiovisual production in the Gambia

What We Do

  1. Representing filmmakers at all meetings to which the association may be invited
  2. Signing agreements with third parties on behalf of filmmakers
  3. Coordination of programs relating to film productions
  4. Organizing trainings tailored to the needs of filmmakers
  5. Forging partnerships and networks for filmmakers
  6. Establishing and maintaining a database of active filmmakers
